When the iPhone 4s came out, Apple also had their new Applecare+ for $99 which covers accidental damages.

So, what are peeps thoughts on whether such a thing will be available for the iPad? I wonder what price it would be, since several models are cheaper than the unsubsidized iPhone 4s.

I'd definitely be interested in some sort of accidental damage coverage, since one of the things I want the iPad for is to let my toddler use it. Would rather deal with Apple than other things like square trade, etc.

I suspect they will introduce AppleCare+ for iPad with the iPad 3.

As AppleCare for the iPad was $10 more than for the iPhone (I think, correct me if I'm wrong), there's a possibility that AppleCare+ for iPad would be more for the iPad 3 than the iPhone. $109, perhaps.
