I'm not sure I understand how Applecare for iPhone works. I have had it for all my iPhones but never had to use it. I bought my niece an iPhone 6 last September. She had a cracked screen a few months back and so we used Applecare + $79 deductible to get it fixed, leaving one "incident" unused. Sure enough, she cracked her screen again. If it is, indeed, just a cracked screen and not anything more major then am I correct that I can just pay $109 out of pocket to get it fixed and save the "incident" in case she needs a more major, replacement type repair later? When we bring the phone to the Apple Store, will they let us wait until after the repair is done to decide whether to use the second "incident" or to just pay out of pocket?
