AppleCare+ for Macbook Pro 2017 in case of accidental damage question

Does anyone know if in case of accidental damage AppleCare+ for the MacBook Pro 2017, this will be global/worldwide or just in the United States?

I know regular repair for the Mac is global/worldwide, but I can not read anything about the coverage in case of the accidental damage cases.


I am taking a MacBook Pro from the US back to Europe

Since it's only being sold there I highly doubt you could claim AppleCare+ in the Netherlands or something. Might be wrong though.

My recommendation is to call them.
Ask them to email you the specific link (save the email) and ask for a case number.

Great advice...especially the one about saving the mail

I will give them a call somewhere next week when I will be in the US.
