I am so angry that AppleCare+ for my 15-inch MacBook Pro costs $379. I wished Apple would lower that price. I know you all are going to say that Apple has to charge that much since it covers accidental damage but guess what? You still pay a "deductible". Basically I'm venting because my time is running out to purchase AppleCare+ and I don't want to spend the money. However, I have to because with my last MacBook Pro I dropped it. It wasn't covered and I paid to have the screen replaced. I'm thinking I can skip buying AppleCare+ and just buy the Incase 15" Hardshell Case with Thunderbolt 3 which is only $49.95.

Also I have read mentioned that other individuals purchase a insurance policy that covers all there electronics for less then the apple care.

Talk to your insurance agent, they may be able to do something.
If you guys on credit card you may have coverage there too.

You can also just not buy Applecare+ and be extra careful (that's what I do). **** happens, I know, but a lot of this stuff is avoidable.
