After searching this forum, I've found several discussions of AppleCare for MPs where everyone simply says they like it or not, however I'd love to know the exact statistics:
 
What happened to the option of "I've had an MP two generations behind and it was replaced under AppleCare"...? :D:D
 
Wow, that's so funny that with 8 voters, the actual statistics are almost equally split.
 
I'm the second one down. What worries me the most is that I have no idea what caused the problem and could happen again. For me, apple care is worth it for a parts replacement and on site service and the tech support has generally been good. (A few idiots, but mostly good).
