It's rare for insurance stuff to go on sale like Apple Care/+ if you do get a discount it would be from a store like B & H or online retailer. Good luck! I paid education price which was only $30 off.

Here in Canada Apple’s Black Friday sale is buy the MacBook Pro and get an Apple gift card worth $210.00

That card could be used for Apple care.

But I think you’d have to return your existing MacBook Pro and order one today to get the Black Friday promo with the Apple gift card. (Providing your within the return policy)
