Applecare help please!!!

Hi,
My warranty for my MacBook ran out about 7months ago, and I received as a present Applecare but it was a little too late so I'm unable to use it.
I was wondering though if I can use the unused Applecare on a new 13" MacBook Pro that I plan on purchasing in about a months time? Will it still work or is it pointless?

Umm.. ask Apple. They will know better than anyone.

Contacting them and asking directly will be less effort than making this thread and give you a valid answer rather than a guess from some stranger on the net. Why does this even need to be explained?

Yes. An unopened macbook applecare box will be valid for a new 13in Macbook Pro. Just pop it in and register.
