so applecare+ finally arrived in canada with the release of the new ipad. i wouldn't have minded having some piece of mind with regards to my 4S, but the restrictions state that its only available within 30 days of when you purchased your phone.

so essentially apple is punishing the canadians who picked up a 4S at launch? i'm more than happy for them to do whatever diagnostic or checkup to ensure my device is still "insurable," but locking us out entirely feels pretty crappy, ESPECIALLY in canada where you have to make your phone last for 3 years on contract.

i'm also frustrated since i went to the apple store right after buying my phone, and they said i might as well hold off on the "regular" applecare since applecare+ would be available soon.

anyone else in a similar boat?
