I think it's only available in the US. Hopefully they will add it in other countries including the UK.
Shop around, plenty of companies will insure you phone for loss, damage or failure. If yo have house contents insurance, try that.
Also play the Sales of Goods Act card if it is a hardware failure and out of the one year guarantee.
