Are there any decent alternatives to AppleCare, possibly only covering the more expensive components? I really don't need AppleCare for things like the hard drive (most likely part of fail) or memory, since I can replace those myself - probably quicker than the AppleCare turnaround (and upgraded to boot, since prices are coming down all the time).

Does anyone offer this service, or should I just go with AppleCare? I haven't yet purchased the laptop, that is (hopefully) coming soon.
