AC+ on Macs: Can UK buyers get cover longer than 3-yrs now (or is it still US only)?

And if so, how can we get it...

1. Can we buy the 3-yr plan upfront when buying our Macs, then from year 4 onwards just extend via paying annually in perpetuity?

and/or

2. Can we just take the annual plan when buying our Macs, and simply continuing paying it beyond year 3 in perpetuity?

The support pages are unclear on this, with three phone calls to AC staff, and I have yet to get a callback about the situation as they don't even seem to know or understand what the policy is. :-/

I'd really like to know whether UK customers buying a new 2021 MBP can have longer than 3 years of cover before confirming my order. It's so annoying having staff that don't have the answer to their own company's policy. Help!

I think the policy language is unclear as well. It sounds like if you purchase the annual policy, you have an option to keep renewing it until Apple advises your product is no longer supported, but it does not mention a limit of 36 months as does the Fixed-Term policy.

Hope you get a clear answer from AC+ Admin Department and post back. Below is for reference.

US vs. non-US pages have conflicting info:

Good news (hopefully!), Apple have updated all country versions of the page to show the same thing!

(funny aside: I only included the 4 English-speaking versions of the page above. Seemingly us UK peeps are the only ones to use "cover" rather than "coverage", at least if you take Apple's support page writers word for it! :))

All versions of the support document now say the same thing:

1. All 9 countries are listed.
2. The US-only part is removed (for the Mac section on the second bullet).

So hopefully this finally clarifies that all device plans (at least for iPhone/iPad/AWatch AND Mac) can extend the 3-year term when we hit 4 years onwards, in all these countries. Hurray!

So for example in my UK case...

I'll be leaving the £349 3-yrs pre-purchased AC+ on my 16" MBP order (shipping in mid Nov). Then come Nov 2024, I can contact Apple to extend onto the annual payments at £129.99 per year.

Just checking, and sorry if this is a stupid question, where's the £129.99 figure coming from? And that definitely still be an option in three years, like is it set in stone or could Apple remove the option?
