Wondering if I can set up AppleCare + monthly on my watch like on my other devices. If so, how? Do I do from watch, or from watch app in phone, or what?

Monthly payments for AppleCare+ is available for Apple Watch in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan, the UK, and Germany.

You will need to purchase AppleCare+ along with your new Apple Watch, or buy it within 60 days of the day you purchased your new Apple Watch. This can be done online here, or at an Apple Store.

Just to throw it out there, you can also do the monthly AppleCare+ payments for your iPhone, if you bought a new iPhone this year. Hope maybe that helps either you or some people that take a look at this thread!

I have it on all my devices, but I couldn’t figure out where to go to get it set up on the watch.

I know other people may feel differently, but I think the monthly AppleCare payments make it so much more palatable to buy the AC. It’s just hard to drop that additional chunk when buying a new item, and I also like that you can just cancel it when you sell or trade in the device. It’s made it much easier to keep AC on all my grandkids’ devices as well. Since I always have little charges here and there from iTunes, App Store, etc., those $4-5 charges don’t really get noticed.

I agree 100%. When I drop $1,200-1,300 on a new iPhone or iPad I really do not want to drop another huge amount for AppleCare+, but do the monthly payments on all of them. As you said, it has its benefits such as being able to cancel when you want, for instance, if you needed to free up some cash or when you sell.
