I got both my iPhone 17 Pro Max and AWU3 on launch day. I only signed up for AppleCare+ for my AWU3. Today was the last day I could get AppleCare+ for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I decided to get the AppleCare One plan. I got the AC+ for my iPhone 17 Pro Max and added the AWU3. After I did that, I went to cancel the individual AC+ that was covering the AWU3 only. I got the warning message that if I removed it, I could not add it back!
However, I had already added the Watch to AppleCare One.
Is my coverage valid?
And if so, why did I still get the warning when I was unsubscribing from the individual AC+ plan for the Watch that I could not add the Watch back to AppleCare?
Was that warning in error since I added the Watch to my new AppleCare One plan?
If it is in error, why isn't Apple more careful about giving the customer erroneous warnings?
