Hi guys,
It is highly probable that I will purchase a 24" iMac when they are next updated, and I am currently debating wether to bother will applecare. I've never bothered with it with previous mac laptops, or indeed any similar extended warenty for any product, so I expect I won't bother this time either, especially as its essentially just 2 years which for me works out at about £61 a year, thats quite alot really, however I am debating it.
My question is, when looking at the description in the imac configuration section of the online shop it says "Onsite service is not available in all locations." Does anyone know where I can find out if it is available in my location or not? I certianly don't want to buy it if I can't even get what seems to be its best feature.
I live in Plymouth, UK and I've previously had to ship both an iBook and an iPod miles away for fixing as there are no apple shops even remotely close to me.
