hello. I’ll be receiving my replacement computer in the USA due to issues with my past computer. Now since I do originally live in canada there’s only AppleCare there. But apparently I can buy AppleCare+. Should I buy AppleCare+ here. Or wait till I get back to Canada

Are you living in the US for awhile? If so I would go for AC+ since it includes the accident coverage. If you are just visiting than AppleCare only would be a better choice.

AC Plus if you can. I think that is the only option in the US now. I'd be interested to know the difference between AppleCare and AppleCarePlus when you are outside of the US.
Yeah same. I only come to the US a few times a year. But I’m basically having the chance to buy the AppleCare here. But do I need the accidental coverage. I’m pretty careful with my stuff. Never cracked a screen or anything before.

You never know when that cup of coffee will spill or when you might drop something and crack a screen. I wouldn’t chance it when spending thousands of dollars. I just replaced an Apple Watch 3 because of a cracked screen and I am so happy I paid the extra 60 bucks or whatever for AppleCare Plus.

If apple is replacing a computer, via warranty work, then I don't think you can buy AC, its not like a normal purchase. I could be wrong, but that's my thinking

Are you getting a replacement computer in exchange for an existing computer or are you buying a new computer in the USA?
