AppleCare or not? 30" Cinema.

I just noticed some major irregularities on my 30" Cinema that definitely haven't been there till today.

There are vertical lines and screen icons are burnt in. This irregularities can only be seen with a grey background but the simple thought that they are there annoy me. The display is still under warranty, I'm just curious if such irregularities are covered.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Definitely should NOT be there... can't imagine why it wouldn't be covered. If I were you and had dropped that much coin on a 30" display, I would DEFINITELY get Applecare for it.

I already have AppleCare for that display (covered till november 2010, so the display is almost three years old now), I just wanna make sure that such things are covered so that they repair it or give me a new display.
