IDK if it's because of the iPhone launch but when I call AppleCare it disconnects me as soon as I press the option for technical support (calling 1-800-APL-CARE). I tried multiple times. So, since I am an education consumer I called the education number and got through to someone who sounded like I was interrupting his bubble bath.

There was silence and I said is this AppleCare?

And he said, Yeah.

I could barely hear him and he said he was talking as loudly as he could. It was really odd, he didn't ask for any of the normal information, he just wanted to know what my problem was.

Anyone else having trouble getting through the regular line? iPhone support has its own phone number so IDK why it should disconnect users from the 1-800-APL-CARE number.
