Applecare phone support hours?

I'm kinda surprised, their phone support line is only open from 6AM-6PM? Those are terrible hours. I heard apple's support rivals IBM/Lenovo and their thinkpad support. Thinkpad support is open 24 hours, why isn't apple's?

Applecare is open M-F 6am - 8pm
Applecare is also open Sat-Sun 6am - 6pm
