I was a class A idiot and didn't get an Applecare Plus contract when I bought my '18 MBP in July. Sure enough, two weeks ago I dumped a glass of wine on it and now I'm literally paying the price. No complaints, that's the way it goes sometimes.

Does anyone know if my eligibility window for Applecare Plus gets reset once it comes back from depot repair? The website doesn't address this.

Update: Apple tech I chatted with today says "no." 60 day hard limit after purchase. Bummer.

Don't forget to check your CC if you purchased with one. My Amex has 120 days of purchase protection that would cover the water spill with likely a new machine to enable you to have done Apple Care+ on that second purchase depending on when it happened and all that jazz.
