AppleCare for PowerBook also works in MacBook Pro (15''or 17'')?

Thanks.

At this point I believe that it is not the case, iThink rather there were certain boxes that were sold during the transition time that were applicable for both. I would imagine you might run into some difficulty now as the Intel switch has taken place, so you would be registering way after the one year time period that you were given to register.

And why no problem with PowerBook/MBP?

Thanks.
No, sorry I did not clarify correctly. Any Apple Care that was branded to work with both a PowerPC machine and Intel machine is probably void at this point because Apple has not sold a PowerPC machine in a while. I was just trying to explain why they dual-branded it.

If a Powerbook Applcare was never registered I believe it works perfectly fine on a MBP. In fact that is probably how some Ebay sellers can get such good prices on Applecare.
