Applecare Question from someone new to macs

I am going to buy a new mac soon with applecare.

Does Applecare cover scratches and such on the body of the laptop that sometimes drive ppl mad?

Do they cover keys on the keyboard that wear off after a while?

I know these may seem like dumb questions but these are 2 things that always bothered me wen i owned my previous PCs, so i would like to know if these things can be fixed with applecare.

no scratches are not covered,

keys do not wear...they are backlit and cannot wear...besides getting shiny
