I'm looking at buying a MacBook this coming week, but I don't have enough to buy the computer, plus the extra RAM, plus the Applecare all in one go. So, how long do I have to purchase Applecare once the computer has been purchased? I've heard anywhere between 30 days and 1 year, so I want to have this straight so that I dont' miss out on the extended warrenty

You have one year from the date of purchase of the computer in which to purchase and activate AppleCare.
