Applecare Question

Ok so i called Apple and they said they would exchange my 3 week old MBP for the new c2d MBP. Good news! But i already registered Applecare for the old MBP.. how do i change Applecare from old comp to new comp?


I also searched but all i could find was how to transfer same computer to new owners so that doesn't help.

You can't transfer it to another computer. The Applecare registration is tied to the serial number of your current computer and can't be moved. I'm not sure if Apple will let you get another Applecare for free or discounted. But I don't believe it can be transferred to another computer.
