Hello - I purchased a "Like New" M4 Macbook Air from Amazon UK. It was Amazon's official Amazon resale. The macbook still had 10 days left to purchase Applecare, although I couldn't do it from settings as I normally can, but I was able to do it from the website when I signed in to check my coverage.
I purchased it, no problem, and I got an email stating I'm covered and all of that. I purchased this laptop in mid July and the macbook was clearly originally purchased in late May. It said that the renewal date would be May 26th 2026 (purchased the annual version). I had no problem with this, and in fact thought it made sense.
However, I noticed yesterday, when I happened to look for something else, that the renewal date changed to July 18th. I purchased the applecare on July 17th. Is this normal? I would have thought the renewal date would be one year from original purchase?
Hopefully, I'm assuming, that I am covered, and nothing to do here on my side?
