Applecare Replacement ipad3 > 4?

Hello, Noob here. This forum is great and has been a wealth of knowledge!

Hypothetical question:

If I have an iPad 3 and have AppleCare and I happen to 'drop' my ipad in the toilet, will they replace it with iPad4?

Assuming ipad 4 has been out for a while (months)...
