Applecare Transfer Question???

I just bought a nice used aluminum powerbook with applecare, the previous owner sent a letter of transfer to applecare. Is there a way to check if they transfered the warranty by going on apples site?

You might try going to:

http://www.apple.com/support/

Then look for the "Applecare" box midway down the page and click the link that says, "Register and View Applecare Agreements." If you're logged with your Apple ID (and the email address the previous owner sent to Apple on your behalf) then it might show up there. Otherwise, I'd just suggest you call Applecare, to ask if it has gone through yet.
