I have a 32Gb iPad3 and rarely use it for anything more than a game or web browsing. I am thinking of selling it and just getting a refurbished 16GB iPad2. If I do is the Applecare transferable from the iPad3 since I bought it on that one or do I have to cancel the Applecare and buy it again? Thanks!

AppleCare is registered to the device and not the user. So when you sell your old iPad, AppleCare will be transferred to the new owner.

Just to go a little further on this, you can also receive a pro-rated refund on the unused portion on your current Applecare, so basically take that check and apply it towards the funds on the Applecare for the new device. Call the Applecare phone number, they will elaborate for you.

Good luck.
