Have just got a new 13" MBP and want to get Applecare but don't want to pay the £200 that Apple want. Can anyone suggest a cheaper genuine source (have seen the horror stories about Ebay)?
:apple:

I bought mine from ebay and its worked a treat! Had to get my keyboard chnaged because the backlight wasn't working.

best of buying it from someone with 100% feedback and someone who sells a fair few Apple products. Think mine was from a seller called Tosh Computers. Not sure if they stills ell them though.

woah guy above.... silly choice

there is a huge post in here saying why not to buy applecare off ebay, basically they can just ban the serial or something, i would say get it from amazon

Amazon dont seem to sell them?

Is there any way to tell if an Ebay seller's code is geniune?

Mine has worked so it's all good. The exact same could happen on Amazon.

I'm not sure if there is a way to tell if they are genuine but if you buy from a powerseller you should be fine!

I would only buy of ebay from a reliable seller make sure to look at feedback,
