Got an email this morning regarding AppleCare + not being available when purchasing the iPhone 5 at checkout and how now it is available by responding by the 21st.

Question is...is it worth it?

For the 4s, dropped it a few times. 1 time replaced the back glass for a very small fee as well as having replaced the phone outright two other times after being honest and just said I dropped it. Genius replaced entire phone without hesitation or having to pay anything.

As I upgrade every time an iPhone hits the market and with the apple store's rep...is AppleCare + really worth the extra $99?

Thoughts and opinions?
Thanks for your help

Well, the back glass only costs $29 to replace on the 4/4S, but the back of this device isn't all glass so who knows how much it will cost to replace those two back panels.

For AC+, I view it as paying $150 to save yourself $50. How? A replacement without AC+ is $200. AC+ replacement is $50, but you have to factor in the original $100 purchase for the plan. Do you see yourself destroying your phone?
