Nope. Best Buy, and I assume other third party sellers, have 60 days. Apple gives you 364 days. I know this because I added AppleCare to my rMBP the last day possible at the Apple Store.

AFAIK, Applecare+ for iPhones has to be taken in first 60 days, but for Computers it is one year. been like this for a while
