Uh... I'm pretty sure this is a stupid question but if I purchase my AppleCare from the states, am I able to register it even though I'm not from the states?

As long as you can get Apple Certified service in Singapore, it shouldn't matter. But call a local shop and verify.

AppleCare is available wherever Apples are sold. You should get great shipping times, since MBPs are shipped from your home town!
