I know that the /AppleInternal folder in iOS devices is used in firmware prototypes and it contains testing applications like SkankPhone or Switchboard, but how can I get that folder on my Mac? I see that many people have it (i.e. here or here, check the logs) but I haven't. I've also Xcode 4.5.1 installed.

Very few outside of Apple have it. It only shows up in the logs because Xcode checks for it on each build and it it's there, it builds it slightly differently. The only way you can get it without working for Apple is to hope that your next Mac comes with it accidentally left on it.

But this person has also got the Apple Internal "PurpleRestore.app" application, so the AppleInternal folder doesn't just contain Xcode logs... and If he asks for help on Apple Support Communities I don't think he works at Apple.

I never said it only contains logs. PurpleRestore is one of Apple's internal tools for iPhones. It is something that is not distributed to anyone outside of Apple's campus and no copy of it has ever been leaked. That person does not have a copy of it.

Well i have that folder, imessage me to makelateemu[at]icloud.com for details if you want it
