Yesterday we started tracking notable discounts on Apple's new M5 iPad Pro, with deals mostly focused on 13-inch models. Today, Amazon has now introduced a new all-time low price on the entry-level 11-inch M5 iPad Pro, available for $949.00, down from $999.00.

In terms of the 11-inch M5 iPad Pro, this is still one of the only steeper discounts, with others sitting around $25 off. If you're shopping for the 13-inch M5 iPad Pro, you'll find the 256GB Wi-Fi model for $1,249.00 ($50 off), the 512GB Wi-Fi model for $1,449.00 ($50 off), and the 2TB Wi-Fi Nano-Texture Glass model for $2,299.00 ($100 off).

The M5 iPad Pro launched this week, and features the new M5 chip, faster SSDs, N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and more. If you're on the hunt for more discounts, be sure to visit our Apple Deals roundup where we recap the best Apple-related bargains of the past week.

The “New low price” is still a thousand dollars ( with barely enough change left over to grab lunch with a friend).

This isn’t an “impulse buy” bargain. So it’s good news if you’d commited to buy already, but it’s not going to sway anyone from an “no” to a “yes”.

At least MR have put a disclaimer to show this is advertising, not a news article.

Apple Store refurbish come with full 12 month warranty. Amazon renewed does not have the same warranty.
Amazon sells a 4-year protection plan for like $150 which even covers things like accidental damage. I’ll take an Amazon renewed with that for the same price as an apple refurb with only 1 year warranty and no accidental damage coverage..

I still ponder why anyone is paying 1K for a freaking tablet when a $299 iPad is 98 percent as good.

There are same valid use cases (but they’re quite specific) but there’s also the “status”. But fine, if people are prepared to buy an iPad Pro over an iPad Air, and they gave the money, that’s their right.

I wouldn’t, but equally I wouldn’t buy a titanium-framed Apple Watch, as I don’t see the jump in price worth it, but it it gives buyers a feeling if satisfaction that they feel is worth the higher price, then Apple’s happy to provide.

I’ve no problem with that.

I do have a problem if a buyer feels pressured into the upsell. And it annoys me when people claim they “need” the more expensive option, when really they “want” it.

“Want” and “Need” are not the same thing, as Black Lodge Cooper so creepily pointed out.

I prefer the honesty of someone saying “I bought the pro because I wanted it and I could afford it”. Rather than saying “it would be impossible for me to function with the cheaper model”

There’s also the fact the Apple Refurbished product are indistinguishable from new aApple products, except for the box they come in - Amazon refurbished? pre-owned.

I’ve no problem with second-hand tech, but it feels second-hand, and should have a second-hand price.
