Best Buy is on a roll this week when it comes to MacBook discounts, starting with 15-inch M2 MacBook Air and M3 MacBook Pro discounts over the weekend and then introducing new record low prices on the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air yesterday. Today, the retailer is again introducing new all-time low prices on an Apple notebook, this time on the new 15-inch M3 MacBook Air.

Though not much, the fact that the 16/512 model is marked down so soon after release seems to indicate that's there's quite a stock of them at Best Buy. Not a bad deal at the lower price.

It's a solid deal if you absolutely need the M3 chip, otherwise Best Buy is also selling M2 15" MacBook Airs with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage for $1499, which is coincidentally what I'm typing this on right now.

What an insane deal. When I was in HS/college would have killed for something with this performance at this price. Our macbook pros from 2009 were $1800, heavy, hot and loud intel, ~5 hour battery life, and took all afternoon to render a video

I've been watching the OB deals on these M3s since Best Buy can really get competitive if you're willing to pick through other's people refuse. The 13" M3 MBA 16/512 looks like it will be priced around $1200 for OB-excellent once they start showing up more frequently. There's one right now about 45 minutes away from me for a little over $1200. That's a solid deal.
