are you talking about fiscal quarters or quarters as in jan to march = quarter 1, april to june = quarter 2 etc?

i believe the iPhone will receive an update mid-year to include G3 networking and various other improvements (capacity increase for ex). don't think MacBook Pro will drop in price, but there will probably be a minor bump in specs before the major update in June. The iPod line will most likely be updated sometime in september as usual.

Here's what I think (I'm just having fun with this)

1st Quarter:

Nothing else other than what we have already seen at MacWorld (similar to last year)

2nd:

MacBook will be updated a month or so before the MBP (perhaps in May)
MBP will be redesigned near the same the it did last year (at or before WWDC)
New ACDs at WWDC
Something is changed on the MBA... price drop most likely
iMac update to Penryn
Mac Mini sees update as well

3rd:

New iPhone released in September or October along with new iPods
MacPro update (either 3rd or 4th quarter depending on when Intel releases the fancy new stuff)

4th:

MacBook Air price drop for the Holiday season

With more R&D in 2009 we will have the MacBook Air with built-in hovercraft engine and with a double clap will fly to you..... now that would be my ideal laptop. Just kidding :p My guesses for this year is a transition of their products towards their new design concepts [MacBook Air, iMac, iPhone etc) and some new fancies technologies.

  • Apple introduces a silent update for the MacBook <--- umm never, there is nothing to update... plus it was just updated in late October... MBP gets update before MB

3rd Quarter: MacBook Pro and Apple Cinema Display
  • Apple introduces the new version of the MacBook Pro in June <--- This may be a bit early as I predict that the MBP revision will be with MONTEVINA, which isn't due out until mid year, maybe later. Shortly after the MBP update the MB's will likely get the Penryn CPU, but the 3MB L2 cache, not the 6MB L2 that will be in the pro.
  • The Apple Cinema Display line recieves a complete facelift
  • iPhone 2 shows up, 16GB and 32GB with 3G, GPS, and removable storage .
