Apple's Brand New M5 MacBook Pro Drops to $1,399.99 for Black Friday ($199 Off)

Amazon today has dropped the price of the new M5 MacBook Pro to $1,399.99, down from $1,599.00. This is the 10-Core model with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD in Space Black, and it's a new all-time low price on the M5 MacBook Pro.

You'll find $199-$200 discounts across every new M5 MacBook Pro on Amazon this week, including both 1TB models of the computer. The 16GB/1TB M5 MacBook Pro has hit $1,599.99 ($199 off) and the 24GB/1TB M5 MacBook Pro has hit $1,799.00 ($200 off). All of these represent new best-ever prices on each laptop.





This version of the MacBook Pro just launched last month and it comes with the newest M5 chip, which offers up to 15% faster CPU performance and up to 45% faster graphics when compared to the M4 chip. For the 512GB model, Amazon provides a November 30 estimated arrival date for free shipping without Prime.

M4 Pro makes more sense to me than M5.

Honestly it’s not a bad price if one needs one. Heavy users will either wait for the M5 pro or go with the M4 pro version.

That's a pretty good deal. The screen on these is super nice - well worth the premium over an MBA, and that's ignoring all the other niceties of the Pro.
 
Good to see quite a significant discount for a brand new MacBook. Don't think the deal will get better for this laptop during this Black Friday. Good time to get one if planning to buy.

I need at least 1TB hard drive space. And then maybe 24GB RAM. For a M5 it’s $2000 with tax and for M4 Pro it’s $2400 with tax. Apparently M5 is not as good as it seems and M4 Pro performs better overall. But it’s a lot of money for these machines and the discounts don’t seem that great :/ If the M4 Pro MacBook was $2000 with tax then maybe.

When they announce the M5 Pro, you will get your wish on the M4 Pro, just a little more waiting.

Nope. I was being cheeky. Price dropped by 99 cents 😆
I know because I purchased at $1399.99 yesterday and then the price dropped today to $1399.00
Before that it was $1441. Can use proven history checker on Amazon app as well.
