It was never about no one uses Firewire and more. Just that all computers have USB, and it costs money to bundle two cables, and not all computers have Firewire. So, what do you do if you are Apple? You would do the same thing.

 Oh gosh, are we going to bring this up again? sheesh. give it a rest already. It's cool though that apple now is a music company and not a computer company. hee hee.

Don't say that in front of Apple Records.

No, I'm not bringing it up again - I've just never seen an adapter cable or AC plug in their top ten...I found it interesting.

no big surprise that its all iPod related stuff in the top ten, and yes a cable in the top ten is a surprise, that means that they are moving quite a bit of 'em

Not particularly a surprise. I would expect a $200 item to outsell a $2000 significantly.

Still surprised. It shows a changing focus for Apple.

i wouldnt call it a changing focus for apple, they know that the ipod is going to outsell macs, its less of a change for PC users to have an iPod than say a mac mini....

does this mean that apple is going to focus more on the ipod? no, because there is only so much that they can do with it, and only so long that it can dominate the market, they are counting on the 'halo' effect though to win over more and more people to the mac though
