I was looking to see what the warranty was on my iSight, as it turns out the mic doesn't work (I'd always used this one on my PB and never actually used the iSight mic). Anyway, looking at the iSight service FAQ, I found this to be quite amusing:
My iSight warranty has expired. What are my service options?

If your iSight is no longer covered under Apple's One Year Limited Warranty and it requires service, Apple will replace your iSight for a service fee of $149, plus $6.95 shipping. All fees are in US dollars and are subject to local tax. Replacement iSights may be new, used or refurbished. Service may not be available if your iSight has been damaged due to accident or abuse.

Wow... just US$149 + US$6.95 + tax. Such a deal!
;)

did you buy it with a credit card that doubles your coverage?

Oh, I'm still covered by the warranty... I just saw this while looking and loved the greater-than-new pricing (once you add the $6.95) - and it might even be used!
