So, I traded in two laptops. Both had prisitne screens, always protected. Both when turned in, however, came back with much-decreased values based on screen damage. Of course, they do oly tell you this fater the 14-day return period for your new laptop is gone.
I examined both when thwy were returned and both looked pristine. I took one to the Best Buy Geek Squad desk, citing screen damage to get an estimate for the repair but not saying anything aout the trade in. The employee looked at it and thought I was crazy. No damage, no dead pixels... perfect. I told hthem what happened, and they suggested that I try again.
What gives?? Is this a total scam on the part of Apple's third-party evaluator??
