Apples mac Mail unable to access outlook.com account

If you suddenly can't connect any more to your Outlook.com mail from Apples Mail on a Mac (and only from there, other mail clients do work), you may have a look to my issue: the mail connection fails because Microsofts own servers are generating an "unusual activity" from Redmont.

According to that link, it was fixed on 22nd July. Have you tried it since?
Also, if you do not have MFA\2FA on, I'd suggest turning it on, and then trying to add/use your mail account again...

Yes, Microsoft fixed the issue. It works now like it should.
