It seems that the Macbook Air is the design that will filter into the MacBook Pro line eventually. First, they eliminated the optical drive. Now it only has an SSD. What's next? I'll tell you. Picture a MBA with an A7 quad-core in 2014. Then picture the rest of the MacBook line with A7/A8 by 2015-2016. Apple probably continues using Xeon processors for the Mac Pro beyond 2016.
