Hey,

With had the Macs, iPods, iPhones and iPads but what do you think will be Apple's next revolutionary device? And also what would you like to see from Apple.

James

I really don't know, but I would have hoped by now that they would have come out with their own device for the automobile. We already know that there are a lot of crappy integrations and it's a mess when you get into a car. Granted, lots of new cars have Bluetooth streaming audio, Bluetooth phone, aux inputs, and the like, but to have a true iOS as the core of the vehicle's computer system would be revolutionary.

Who knows? Perhaps that data center in North Carolina is really an automobile plant in disguise?

I'd buy an 2011 iCar in a heartbeat.

Interactive computing, kind of like in the Minority Report. I know someone recently made something similar using MS Kinect so maybe Apple can bump it up and revamp home computing.

i do think they're quite happy with car docks for the iPhone and iPod touch.

looks quite decent, for example

apple branded car integration is the last thing i'd expect, really.
iOS is all about mobile web, so where's the point in creating something you're basically not allowed to be using while driving your car?

You know that O'Car is basically an iPhone dock at the edge of a 1-DIN form factor box and a knob for $400. No thanks.

This.

I think it is a natural progression and keeps users in the Apple ecosystem.

Actually, I think Apple should just dump all their resources into making chips that are implanted into our brains. This way, they'd save a ton of money on marketing and simply alert everyone letting them know that Apple has released a new product and, whether the need is there or not, we must come and purchase it.

They'll buy Twitter.
