Any word on what Apple plans to do with the iTunes Store app? Since iOS 17 (I believe) they moved Movies and TV Shows to the Apple TV app, which makes sense. Why haven't they moved the Music portion of iTunes over to the Music app, then totally remove the iTunes Store from their operating systems? It's not even optimized for 'Liquid Glass'.
It is nice now with tvOS 26, you now have the option in Settings to hide the iTunes Store apps from the TV home screens, which I did. Leaving them visible is pointless as they just redirect you to the TV app. 🤷♂️
But at this point I feel Apple is either neglecting the iTunes Store completely or still working to remove it.
