"Apple's newest retail store location comes to Tucson, Ariz. next week -- Apple Store La Encantada is due to open on Saturday, January 24th at 10AM.

La Encantada is a Macerich-owned shopping mall situated at the northwest corner of E Skyline Drive and N Campbell Ave in Tucson, Ariz. The Apple Store itself is located on the lower level of the plaza, next to Victoria's Secret.

As with other new Apple Store openings, this one will award commemorative T-shirts to the first 1,000 people in the door. A Grand Opening Sweepstakes will also award one lucky winner with a Digital Lifestyle Collection worth nearly $2,300, comprising a 15-inch flat-panel iMac with Combo drive; a Canon PowerShot SD-100 digital camera, a Canon ZR60 digital camcorder and Epson Stylus Photo 820.

The store will feature an ongoing series of presentations and workshops to help new and experienced Mac owners alike to get the most out of their systems. Presentations already scheduled for the store include series on digital photography; digital music; "Pro Wednesday" and more."

Looks like someone will get lucky in the new AZ. store.

Very Nice

I am surprised there wasn't one there before. I wil have to e-mail my best friend in Tucson: he can take his brother (PC guy but bi-curious) so I can get a shirt.

Nice.

What I think is neat it actually opens on the date the Mac turns 20!
