I have a 3GS with a dead speaker and dented up body, so I was eagerly awaiting an excuse to upgrade. I also am pretty well-integrated into the whole iOS-OS X system as I have 2 macs and an iphone and have relied on mobileme for a while...

However, I absolutely refuse to upgrade to the 4S. Yes, it may be silly to some, but I hate the look of the 4, and the "new" specs weren't enough for me to change my mind. Neither was Siri (nice gimmick tho...)

Given all that, I was pretty much set on going over to the android side with the Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich coming out, but then I realized that I've neglected one major factor. The customer service!

I've had to go to the Apple Store for repairs so many times over this past year alone...I can't imagine what it'd be like to have to deal with some other company's customer service. Is there a Samsung store somewhere? Where do I go if I have to repair anything? Can I buy an extended warranty?

Does anyone out there have any answers to those questions and/or experiences to share?

Right now I'm on the fence deciding whether I hang on to the 3GS for another year or so, or just take the dive into android (which I really wouldn't mind aside from the above questions).
