Applescript and X11 not working. need help

When I try to open applications like onyx, i get this error

"Applescript error: Command exited with non zero status"
or
"Apple event handler failed"

Also, when trying to install packages, the install fails right when it starts exucuting installation scripts.

Also, when I try to open X11, is opens for around 10 seconds, then closes.

Anyone know what the problem is?
