I know how to delete them, but I don't want to hit all the buttons to do it.

The option for Applescript is grayed out in Safari...any ideas where I might find help writing a script to do that?

I've hunted the web with little sucess.
 
If you choose "Reset Safari..." from the Safari menu, it will accomplish this and a few others.
