I have a web application at work that I have to login into several times a day and do a couple of queries. (check boxes, enter data into fields and submit) This is supposed to generate no results.

What I would like to do is generate some type of applescript to make these selections and run the query and if it finds a result generate an alert message and/or sound. (I want to do this on weekends via VPN on my mac so I don't have to check it several times a day on my weekend!)

I am rather new to Mac and I've attempted to "record" in Script Editor, but it doesn't seem to record any interactions with Safari.

Can anyone recommend a way to do this or [if Applescript isn't the answer] a third-party app. that does this?

Thanks for any help!

S :)
