Hello everyone,
I am currently working at a filmset. I have to check all the rushes twice for faults. That means I will have to do certain actions a gazillion more times.
I am currently looking into applescript to do one specific sequence. Every clip I open with qt has to be stretched to 200% in width because we are filming with an anamorphic lens, and I need to apply a mask. After that, the image has to be "fill screen".
Though I have never been any good at scripting, I am sure I can learn applescript. It's just the parameters for width I have not found yet. In the menu I have to disable "keep proportions", set width to 200% and height to 100%. Then I apply a mask with a file I have been given. I tried recording the action but it simply did not record anything I did inside quicktime.
I think it can only be done in quicktime 7 as they have given me that version to work with instead of the latest one.
In short: I open a file manually. Ideally, I would press a hotkey and it makes the picture go 200% in width, apply mask and go "fill screen".
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Joris
