macOS Applescript - Renaming a file with text returned from dialog box

Hello,

I am new to applescript, and was hoping someone could help me in creating one that renames a file in finder with what I type into a dialog box. I know how to display dialog box, but I do not understand how to make the text returned from that become the name that I rename the selected file to. I want this Applescript to run after I rip a dvd to my hard drive, display a dialog box that allows me to enter text, and then rename the ripped file to the text that I entered into the dialog box.
